Ticket Transfer Policy

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

Rules for transferring a Vybz Hub ticket, credential rotation, attendee name changes and refunds on transferred tickets.

This policy explains how eligible ticket transfers work on Vybz Hub. It supplements the Terms of Use and Customer Ticket Purchase Terms.

1. What a Transfer Does

A completed Vybz Hub transfer changes the current owner of an eligible ticket from the sender to the recipient.

After completion:

  • the sender’s active ticket credential is invalidated;
  • a new active credential is generated for the recipient;
  • the sender no longer has the right to use the ticket; and
  • Vybz Hub’s server-side ticket state controls admission.

2. Eligibility

Transfers may be unavailable for tickets that are already checked in, cancelled, voided, refunded, expired, otherwise restricted, or beyond an applicable transfer cutoff.

Vybz Hub may also restrict transfers for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or event-specific reasons.

3. Recipient Account

The recipient may be required to have or create an eligible Vybz Hub account before the transfer can be completed.

The sender is responsible for selecting the intended recipient through the supported transfer flow.

4. Protecting Ticket Credentials

Do not send a screenshot of a QR code as a substitute for an authorized transfer.

After a completed transfer, old credentials may be rejected even if a screenshot still exists.

5. Attendee Name Changes Are Different

Changing an attendee name does not by itself change ownership.

A formal transfer is required when ownership is intended to move to another account.

6. No General Resale Marketplace

Vybz Hub currently provides ticket transfer but does not operate a general ticket resale marketplace unless a feature is expressly identified as such.

Vybz Hub does not verify, broker, insure, or guarantee a separate off-platform payment between a sender and recipient.

7. Refunds After Transfer

If a transferred ticket later becomes eligible for an electronic refund because of an approved event cancellation or other authorized refund:

  • the refund is generally returned to the original purchaser’s original payment method;
  • the current recipient’s ticket is cancelled or voided;
  • the recipient does not become the payment recipient merely because they currently own the ticket; and
  • the ticket does not need to be transferred back unless Vybz Hub expressly instructs otherwise.

Any separate reimbursement between sender and recipient for off-platform payments is their responsibility.

8. Fraud and Abuse

Users may not use transfers to evade ticket limits, disguise unlawful resale, duplicate credentials, commit payment fraud, or interfere with ticket security.

Vybz Hub may restrict transfers or accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users and platform integrity.

9. Contact

Transfer questions may be submitted through the support/contact method published by Vybz Hub.
