The Vybz Hub Terms of Use covering accounts, event listings, tickets, transfers, subscriptions, advertising and platform rules.
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Vybz Hub mobile application, website, event-discovery services, promoter tools, ticketing services, subscriptions, advertising features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, accessing the Services, posting or managing an event, purchasing or accepting a ticket, using promoter tools, or otherwise using Vybz Hub, you agree to these Terms and any policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Vybz Hub’s Role
Vybz Hub provides technology that helps users discover events and allows eligible promoters and organizers to publish, promote, manage, and sell tickets to events.
Unless Vybz Hub expressly identifies itself as the organizer of a particular event, Vybz Hub is not the event organizer, venue, performer, promoter, transportation provider, security provider, or operator of the event.
Event organizers and promoters are responsible for their events, including event descriptions, schedules, venues, admission requirements, safety, legal compliance, ticket inventory, cancellations, customer service, and obligations to attendees.
2. Additional Policies
The following policies may apply and are incorporated into these Terms where relevant:
- Privacy Policy;
- Subscription & Paid Feature Terms;
- Customer Ticket Purchase Terms;
- Refund & Event Cancellation Policy;
- Ticket Transfer Policy;
- Promoter Ticketing Agreement;
- Promoter/Event Organizer Policy;
- Acceptable Use & Prohibited Events Policy;
- Cookie Policy for website users; and
- any event-specific lawful admission rules disclosed before or at entry.
If there is a conflict, the more specific policy governs the specific feature, transaction, or event, subject to mandatory law.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping login credentials secure.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using materially false information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, or use Vybz Hub for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Vybz Hub may require account verification or additional information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, payments, promoter access, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
4. Event Listings
Promoters are responsible for ensuring event information is accurate and current, including the event name, date, time, venue, location, age restrictions, admission requirements, contact information, images, ticket information, and other material details.
Vybz Hub may review, reject, remove, restrict, or require changes to event listings that violate these Terms, applicable law, intellectual-property rights, safety requirements, or Vybz Hub policies.
Approval or publication of an event does not mean Vybz Hub endorses, guarantees, sponsors, or assumes responsibility for the event.
5. Event-Specific Rules
Organizers may enforce lawful event-specific rules such as age restrictions, identification requirements, entry cutoffs, dress requirements, prohibited-item rules, security procedures, accessibility procedures, and venue policies.
Event-specific rules cannot override mandatory law, these Terms, or Vybz Hub platform rules.
6. User Content
Users and promoters may upload event flyers, profile images, descriptions, advertisements, and other content.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload and use that content. You grant Vybz Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, resize, format, and distribute the content as reasonably necessary to operate, market, secure, and improve the Services and the applicable event or listing.
You may not upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, malicious, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law or Vybz Hub policies.
7. Event Discovery and Social Features
Vybz Hub may provide bookmarks, favorites, “going,” “interested,” sharing, reminders, promoter profiles, follows, and similar features.
Counts, availability, event information, and user-generated content may change. Vybz Hub does not guarantee that every event will occur exactly as listed.
Users must not use social or event features to harass others, collect personal information without authorization, spam users, or engage in abusive behavior.
8. Tickets
Ticket purchases and ticketing features are also governed by the Customer Ticket Purchase Terms, Refund & Event Cancellation Policy, and Ticket Transfer Policy.
Tickets may contain unique QR or digital credentials. Users must protect ticket credentials. A ticket may be refused if it is invalid, voided, cancelled, refunded, previously checked in, transferred away, presented for the wrong event, or otherwise no longer active.
Where transfers or attendee-name changes are permitted, they must be completed using Vybz Hub’s authorized ticket tools.
9. Ticket Purchase Limits and Circumvention
Vybz Hub or an organizer may impose ticket quantity, tier, account, transaction, or household limits.
Users may not use multiple accounts, automated tools, false identities, multiple payment methods, coordinated purchases, or other methods to evade stated purchase limits, inventory controls, fraud controls, or fair-access rules.
Vybz Hub may cancel, void, restrict, or review transactions reasonably believed to circumvent these controls, subject to applicable law and any required refund obligations.
10. Ticket Security and Compromised Credentials
Users are responsible for protecting active ticket credentials and account access. Publicly posting, forwarding, or sharing a QR credential may allow another person to attempt entry.
If you believe a ticket credential or account has been compromised, contact Vybz Hub support promptly. Vybz Hub may invalidate, rotate, replace, or restrict credentials where technically appropriate, but does not guarantee replacement in every circumstance.
11. Transfers and Resale
Vybz Hub may support ticket transfer, which changes the current ticket owner inside Vybz Hub and rotates the active ticket credential.
Vybz Hub does not currently operate a general ticket resale marketplace unless a specific feature is expressly identified as such.
A transfer does not mean Vybz Hub has verified, brokered, insured, or guaranteed any separate off-platform payment between users. Users who exchange money outside Vybz Hub do so at their own risk, subject to applicable law.
12. Promoters and Ticket Sales
Promoters using Vybz Hub ticketing are also subject to the Promoter Ticketing Agreement and Promoter/Event Organizer Policy.
Promoters are responsible for event fulfillment, attendee service, lawful operation of the event, required permits, venue arrangements, cancellations, and promoter obligations arising from refunds, disputes, chargebacks, or cash sales.
13. Fees and Payments
Certain Services may require payment. Fees shown before purchase may include platform, service, processing, subscription, advertising, boost, ticketing, or other applicable charges.
Ticketing fee rules are governed by the applicable ticket terms and promoter agreement. Vybz Hub will not knowingly charge a fee that was not disclosed through the applicable purchase flow or governing terms.
Third-party payment providers may process payments. Vybz Hub does not require users to provide raw payment-card credentials directly to Vybz Hub where payment is handled by an authorized payment provider.
14. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Paid memberships, subscriptions, boosts, and eligible in-app purchases are subject to the Subscription & Paid Feature Terms and the billing rules of the platform through which the purchase was made, including Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe where applicable.
Deleting the Vybz Hub app or account does not necessarily cancel an active third-party subscription.
15. Advertising and Promotions
Promoters or advertisers may purchase or request advertising, featured placement, boosts, or promotional placement.
Vybz Hub does not guarantee a specific number of impressions, clicks, ticket sales, attendees, or business results unless expressly agreed in writing.
Advertising content must be lawful, accurate, authorized, and compliant with Vybz Hub policies.
16. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- violate applicable law;
- commit or facilitate fraud;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Services;
- scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or access restricted systems except where legally permitted;
- use bots or automation to unfairly obtain tickets or evade limits;
- manipulate ticket inventory, payments, check-ins, subscriptions, boosts, payouts, or platform metrics;
- distribute malicious code;
- impersonate Vybz Hub, a promoter, or another user;
- misuse another person’s personal information;
- duplicate, forge, or misuse ticket credentials;
- use Vybz Hub to promote prohibited events or unlawful activity; or
- evade fees, refund processes, financial holds, or authorized payment flows.
Additional restrictions appear in the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Events Policy.
17. Event Changes, Postponements, Relocations, and Cancellations
Events may be changed, postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or cancelled by organizers.
A postponed, rescheduled, or relocated event is not automatically treated as cancelled. Unless Vybz Hub or the organizer expressly provides otherwise, an existing valid ticket may remain valid for the changed event.
Where Vybz Hub ticketing is used, refund treatment is governed by the Customer Ticket Purchase Terms and Refund & Event Cancellation Policy.
For events not ticketed through Vybz Hub, attendees may need to contact the event organizer or original ticket provider directly.
18. Refund Destination for Transferred Tickets
For an eligible electronic refund on a ticket originally purchased through Vybz Hub, the refund is generally returned to the original payment method used for the original purchase, even if the ticket was later transferred to another Vybz Hub user.
The current ticket may be cancelled or voided as part of the refund process. The current ticket holder does not become the payment recipient merely because they hold the ticket after a transfer.
Any separate payment arrangement between a sender and recipient outside Vybz Hub is their responsibility.
19. Incidental and Travel Expenses
Unless required by law or expressly agreed otherwise, a ticket refund does not include reimbursement for separate expenses such as airfare, hotels, transportation, parking, food, clothing, childcare, lost wages, or other incidental or consequential costs incurred in connection with an event.
20. Intellectual Property
Vybz Hub’s software, branding, interface, designs, logos, trademarks, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Vybz Hub and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Vybz Hub intellectual property to users.
21. Third-Party Services
The Services may depend on or link to third-party services such as payment processors, mapping providers, app stores, notification providers, cloud services, websites, or social platforms.
Vybz Hub is not responsible for third-party services outside its control. Use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
22. Service Availability
Vybz Hub may modify, suspend, maintain, or discontinue parts of the Services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may take reasonable steps to protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, address technical issues, or protect platform integrity.
23. Account Suspension or Termination
Vybz Hub may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, repeated policy violations, unlawful activity, payment abuse, ticket-limit circumvention, threats to users or the platform, or other material violations of these Terms.
Where appropriate, Vybz Hub may preserve records required for financial, security, legal, dispute, or regulatory purposes after account closure.
24. Electronic Communications
By using the Services, you agree that Vybz Hub may provide transactional and legally required communications electronically, including through email, in-app notices, push notifications, website notices, or other supported electronic methods.
Marketing communications remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
25. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
Unless Vybz Hub is expressly the organizer, Vybz Hub does not guarantee an event’s performance, attendance, quality, safety, venue conditions, artist appearance, organizer conduct, or accuracy of promoter-supplied information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vybz Hub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services or an event organized by a third party.
Any limitation applies only to the extent legally permitted and does not exclude liability that applicable law prohibits Vybz Hub from excluding.
27. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, promoters, advertisers, and users responsible for content or commercial activity agree to indemnify and hold Vybz Hub harmless from third-party claims arising from their unlawful conduct, infringement, event operations, content, or material breach of these Terms.
28. Changes to These Terms
Vybz Hub may update these Terms. When required, we will provide notice or request renewed acceptance. The effective date identifies the current version.
29. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Vybz Hub operating entity, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other laws that cannot be waived.
30. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be submitted through the support/contact method published by Vybz Hub.
