Customer Ticket Purchase Terms

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

The terms that apply when you buy a ticket on Vybz Hub, including fees, QR credentials, entry, transfers and refunds.

These Customer Ticket Purchase Terms apply when you obtain a ticket through Vybz Hub. They supplement the Vybz Hub Terms of Use, Refund & Event Cancellation Policy, and Ticket Transfer Policy.

By purchasing or accepting a ticket, you agree to these Ticket Terms.

1. Event Organizer

Unless Vybz Hub expressly identifies itself as the organizer, the event promoter or organizer—not Vybz Hub—is responsible for producing and operating the event.

The promoter is responsible for event details, venue arrangements, admission policies, age restrictions, event safety, performance, and event-specific obligations.

Vybz Hub provides technology used to list, sell, issue, transfer, manage, and validate eligible tickets.

2. Ticket Price and Customer Fee

For standard Vybz Hub online/card ticket purchases, the customer is charged:

Ticket base price + 5% customer fee

The exact amount and currency are shown before payment.

The 5% customer fee is calculated from the ticket base amount using the platform’s server-authoritative minor-unit rounding rules.

Any promoter-side fee is an obligation of the promoter and is not added again as a separate customer charge unless clearly disclosed in the checkout total.

3. Currency

Events may be configured in supported currencies, including USD or JMD where the applicable payment method supports that currency.

A displayed ticket currency applies to that event/order. Currency availability may depend on the payment provider and purchase channel.

4. Ticket Purchase Limits

An event or ticket tier may have purchase limits.

You may not evade limits through multiple accounts, identities, orders, payment methods, automated tools, coordinated purchases, or similar methods.

Vybz Hub may cancel, void, or review transactions reasonably believed to violate stated limits or fraud controls, subject to applicable law and any refund obligations.

5. Ticket Issuance

A ticket is issued only after Vybz Hub receives authoritative confirmation that the applicable electronic payment succeeded or after an authorized door-cash sale is recorded.

A pending checkout, payment attempt, or temporary inventory reservation is not an issued ticket.

6. QR Ticket Security

Each active digital ticket may contain a unique QR or security credential.

You are responsible for protecting your ticket. Do not publicly post, forward, screenshot-share, or otherwise expose a QR credential to unauthorized persons.

The first valid use of an active credential may result in check-in. Duplicate presentation may be rejected.

If you believe a credential was copied or exposed, contact support promptly. Vybz Hub may rotate, invalidate, replace, or restrict credentials where technically appropriate, but does not guarantee replacement in every circumstance.

7. Ticket Status

A ticket may be denied or displayed as unusable if it is already checked in, transferred away, voided, cancelled, refunded, invalid, presented at the wrong event, or otherwise no longer active.

8. Ticket Transfers

Where Vybz Hub enables ticket transfer, the current owner may transfer an eligible ticket to another eligible Vybz Hub account.

After a completed transfer:

  • ownership changes to the recipient;
  • the prior QR credential is invalidated;
  • a new credential is generated for the new owner; and
  • the sender no longer has the right to use the transferred ticket.

Transfers may be restricted after check-in, after the event, for invalid ticket states, or where otherwise required for security.

Additional transfer rules appear in the Ticket Transfer Policy.

9. Refunds After a Ticket Transfer

If an eligible electronically purchased ticket is transferred and the event is later approved for refund, the refund is generally returned to the original payment method used by the original purchaser.

The transferred ticket may be cancelled or voided automatically as part of the refund process. The current recipient does not become the Vybz Hub refund recipient merely because they currently own the ticket.

The recipient does not need to transfer the ticket back before an approved cancellation refund unless Vybz Hub expressly instructs otherwise.

Any separate payment between the sender and recipient outside Vybz Hub is their responsibility. Vybz Hub does not guarantee reimbursement of off-platform payments.

10. Attendee Name Changes

Where enabled, an eligible ticket owner may change the attendee name before the applicable cutoff.

A name change does not change ticket ownership unless a formal ticket transfer is also completed.

Vybz Hub may retain an audit history of ticket-name changes for security and dispute purposes.

11. Event Admission

Possession of a ticket does not override lawful venue or organizer rules.

The organizer may enforce disclosed age restrictions, identification requirements, entry cutoffs, safety rules, capacity restrictions, dress requirements, prohibited-item rules, or other lawful admission conditions.

A user denied admission for violating disclosed event rules is not automatically entitled to a refund from Vybz Hub.

12. General Refund Rule

Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms or the Refund & Event Cancellation Policy, ticket purchases are generally final.

A change of mind, inability to attend, travel problem, scheduling conflict, personal circumstance, or failure to meet disclosed admission requirements does not automatically create a right to a refund.

13. Event Cancellation

If an event with Vybz Hub ticket sales is cancelled through the approved Vybz Hub cancellation workflow, Vybz Hub may process refunds for eligible electronic ticket orders originally processed through Vybz Hub.

For an approved full electronic cancellation refund, Vybz Hub’s current policy is to return the eligible amount charged for the affected ticket purchase, including the applicable customer ticket fee associated with the refunded ticket, subject to provider limitations, prior partial refunds, chargebacks, or requirements of law.

Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method where supported.

14. Postponed, Rescheduled, Relocated, or Materially Changed Events

A postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or otherwise changed event is not automatically cancelled.

Unless the organizer or Vybz Hub states otherwise, an existing valid ticket may remain valid for the new date, time, or venue.

Vybz Hub or the organizer may offer a refund, credit, exchange, or other option for a material change, subject to the event-specific decision and applicable law.

The availability and deadline for any such option will be communicated where practicable.

15. Refund Processing Time

Vybz Hub may initiate an eligible electronic refund through the applicable payment provider.

After initiation, the time required for funds to appear is controlled in part by the card network, bank, payment provider, or other financial institution. Vybz Hub does not guarantee immediate posting.

16. Door Cash Purchases

For authorized door cash:

  • customer fee = 0%;
  • promoter fee = 0%;
  • platform fee = 0%;
  • processor fee = 0%; and
  • the customer pays the exact configured cash ticket price.

The promoter or authorized event seller physically receives the cash. Vybz Hub does not hold those cash proceeds and does not include them in a future promoter payout.

Because Vybz Hub did not collect the cash, eligible cash refunds are the promoter’s responsibility unless Vybz Hub expressly provides a different process.

17. Door Card Purchases

Door-card purchases are electronically processed and may include the applicable customer/platform fee structure disclosed before payment.

Supported currencies and payment methods may differ from online advance ticket purchases.

The checkout screen controls the final amount charged.

18. Cancelled, Voided, and Refunded Tickets

When a ticket is cancelled, voided, or refunded, its admission credential may be disabled and the ticket may no longer be used for entry.

A refund does not authorize continued use, resale, transfer, or check-in of the affected ticket.

19. Resale and Off-Platform Transactions

Vybz Hub currently supports authorized ticket transfer but does not operate a general resale marketplace unless expressly stated.

A ticket transfer does not verify or protect any separate payment made outside Vybz Hub.

Users may not use Vybz Hub to engage in unlawful ticket resale, ticket fraud, credential duplication, price-limit evasion where prohibited by law, or circumvention of Vybz Hub’s authorized transfer process.

20. Fraud, Payment Reversal, and Order Cancellation

Vybz Hub may cancel, void, restrict, or review a ticket/order where reasonably necessary because of payment failure, payment reversal, suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, ticket-limit circumvention, bot activity, credential abuse, or material violation of these Terms.

Where a transaction is cancelled by Vybz Hub, any refund or reversal will be handled according to the payment status, applicable law, and the reason for cancellation.

21. Refund Abuse and Chargebacks

Users should contact Vybz Hub support regarding a legitimate ticket-payment issue before attempting abusive or knowingly false disputes.

Nothing in this section limits a consumer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or improperly processed transaction.

Fraudulent chargebacks, fabricated claims, or deliberate misuse of ticket credentials may result in account restrictions and other lawful remedies.

22. Travel and Other Expenses

Unless required by law or expressly agreed otherwise, a ticket refund does not include reimbursement for separate expenses such as airfare, hotels, transportation, parking, food, clothing, childcare, lost wages, or other incidental or consequential costs.

23. Technical Problems

If a confirmed valid ticket cannot be displayed because of a technical issue, contact Vybz Hub support and be prepared to verify the account/order.

Vybz Hub may use server-side ticket records to determine ticket validity.

24. Promoter Responsibility

The promoter remains responsible for producing the event and for promoter obligations arising from cancellation, cash sales, refunds, and other organizer responsibilities.

Vybz Hub’s role as ticketing technology/payment facilitator does not make Vybz Hub the event organizer unless expressly stated.

25. Changes to Ticket Terms

Vybz Hub may update these Ticket Terms.

Where the application requires versioned acceptance, a user may be required to accept a new version before making a future ticket purchase.

Prior acceptance records may be retained for audit and dispute purposes.

26. Contact

Ticket questions may be submitted through the support/contact method published by Vybz Hub.
