The website may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, security, analytics, and—where enabled and legally permitted—advertising or measurement. See the Vybz Hub Cookie Policy for additional information.

3. Public Information
Certain information is intended to be public, including published event listings, event images, promoter-facing public profile information, and other content a user or promoter chooses to publish.
Do not submit information to a public field that you do not want displayed publicly.
Vybz Hub does not intentionally make private ticket credentials, full payment details, private account identifiers, or private contact information publicly available merely because a user attends or purchases a ticket.
4. Ticketing Privacy
Ticket information is shared only as reasonably necessary to operate ticketing.
Ticket owners can access their own active ticket credentials. Promoters and authorized event staff may receive limited attendee and ticket information necessary to manage an event or check in attendees.
Promoters and scanners should not receive unrestricted access to customer payment credentials or private ticket security tokens.
When a ticket is transferred, access to the active ticket credential follows the current ticket owner. Historical purchase records may remain associated with the original purchaser for accounting, refund, fraud-prevention, and audit purposes.
5. Promoters and Event Organizers as Data Recipients
When you interact with or purchase a ticket for an event, certain information may be made available to the organizer where reasonably necessary to operate the event, provide admission, address attendee service, comply with legal obligations, or investigate an event-related issue.
Organizers may have their own legal responsibilities for information they receive. Vybz Hub does not authorize organizers to use attendee information for unrelated purposes in violation of law or Vybz Hub policy.
6. Payments and Financial Providers
Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies.
Vybz Hub may share the minimum information reasonably necessary to create or verify transactions, issue refunds, manage subscriptions, investigate disputes or chargebacks, prevent fraud, reconcile promoter balances, and administer payouts.
7. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, Vybz Hub may use a device push token to send event reminders, account notices, ticket updates, transfer notices, cancellation/refund notices, payout information, or other relevant notifications.
You can control notification permissions through device settings and any notification preferences available within Vybz Hub.
8. Camera and Photo Access
Vybz Hub may request camera access for features such as authorized ticket QR scanning.
Photo-library or image access may be requested when you choose to upload profile photos, event images, advertisements, or other supported media.
Vybz Hub does not require microphone access for ticket QR scanning.
9. Location and Maps
Vybz Hub may display event locations using mapping services.
The app may use event-provided venue/location data without requiring continuous access to your precise device location. If a feature requests device location, the applicable permission will be requested.
Third-party mapping providers may process map-related information under their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Service Providers
Vybz Hub may use service providers for authentication and database infrastructure, cloud storage, payment processing, app-store billing, push notifications, mapping, email or communications, security, diagnostics, analytics, and hosting.
These providers may process information on Vybz Hub’s behalf or under their own applicable agreements and policies.
11. Information Sharing
We may share information:
- with service providers necessary to operate Vybz Hub;
- with promoters or event staff where necessary to provide event or ticketing services;
- when a user directs or authorizes sharing;
- to investigate fraud, security incidents, disputes, chargebacks, abuse, or prohibited events;
- when required by law, court order, lawful process, or regulatory obligation; or
- in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale, subject to applicable law.
Vybz Hub does not sell users’ raw payment-card credentials.
Attorney/privacy review required: determine whether any advertising, analytics, cross-context behavioral advertising, or measurement activity constitutes a “sale,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or similar regulated activity in any applicable jurisdiction, and add required notices/opt-outs if needed.
12. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Website cookie practices are described in the Cookie Policy.
Where legally required, non-essential analytics or advertising technologies should not be activated until the required consent is obtained.
Users may also be able to control cookies through browser settings, although disabling essential technologies may affect website functionality.
13. Data Security
Vybz Hub uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials and should not publicly share ticket QR codes or other security credentials.
14. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing Services, maintaining transaction and ticket records, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory requirements.
Some financial, ticketing, transfer, check-in, audit, refund, dispute, liability, payout, or security records may need to be retained after an account is deleted.
15. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
Where available, users may request account deletion or other privacy actions through Vybz Hub’s account or support process.
Deletion of an account may not require deletion of records that Vybz Hub must retain for legitimate financial, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, legal, or regulatory reasons.
Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription managed through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another third party.
16. Children
Vybz Hub is an event platform and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Age-restricted event labels describe event admission requirements and do not mean Vybz Hub has independently verified every attendee’s age.
17. International Processing
Vybz Hub and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where a user is located. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards will be used for international transfers.
18. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or other actions regarding personal information.
These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, and record-retention requirements.
Where legally required, Vybz Hub will provide a method to appeal or challenge certain privacy-request decisions.
19. Third-Party Links
Vybz Hub may link to organizers, venues, social platforms, maps, payment providers, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
Where required, we will provide notice of material changes.
21. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through the support/contact method published by Vybz Hub.
